3rd Officer for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting 3 Third Officers for tanker vessels, including VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax vessels. The Third Officer will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, deck operations, and onboard safety activities in accordance with company procedures and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Keeping navigational watches and assisting with safe navigation.
• Maintaining navigational equipment, charts, publications, and records.
• Supporting cargo and ballast operations.
• Participating in emergency preparedness, drills, and safety inspections.
• Assisting with deck maintenance and other duties assigned by senior officers.

Requirements

• Valid Officer of the Watch / Third Officer CoC.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Relevant tanker vessel experience; VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English communication.
