Job Description:
CF Sharp is currently recruiting an experienced 3rd Officer to join a tanker vessel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, deck operations and compliance with vessel safety procedures. Applicants must have at least one year of experience in the same position onboard a tanker vessel.
Candidates must ensure that all required maritime documents are valid and up to date and be prepared to complete any medical examinations or training required for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with safe navigation and bridge watchkeeping duties.
Supporting deck operations, maintenance and cargo-related activities.
Ensuring compliance with onboard safety and emergency procedures.
Maintaining required navigational and operational records.
Assisting senior officers with daily vessel operations and ensuring compliance with company and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a 3rd Officer on tanker vessels.
Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) appropriate for the position.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport.
Valid Seaman's Book.
All required certificates and documents must be current and up to date.
Must be medically fit for service at sea.
Additional training may be required depending on the position and vessel requirements.
Good English communication skills.
