Job Description

Elburg Shipmanagement is urgently seeking three qualified Third Officers to support navigation, bridge watchkeeping, and onboard safety operations aboard oil tankers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
  • Assist with passage planning and maintenance of navigational charts.
  • Inspect and maintain lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety exercises.
  • Maintain bridge documentation and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid Third Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • Relevant seagoing experience; tanker experience as required by the employer.
  • Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
