3rd Officer for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is seeking an experienced 3rd Officer to join an LPG Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, deck operations, and compliance with vessel safety procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a proper navigational watch under the supervision of senior deck officers.
• Assisting with passage planning, navigation, and bridge operations.
• Supporting cargo and deck operations in accordance with LPG tanker procedures.
• Conducting safety, emergency, and security duties as assigned.
• Maintaining navigational and safety equipment and required records.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to rank.
• Valid Officer of the Watch / 3rd Officer certification.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on LPG or tanker vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and certificates.
