Job Description

South Point is recruiting four qualified 3rd Officers for an upcoming LNG Bunker Vessel operation in Singapore waters.

The successful candidates will assist with navigational watchkeeping, safety equipment inspections, passage planning and routine deck operations, helping ensure safe vessel operations in accordance with company procedures and maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain navigational watches as assigned.
• Assist with passage planning and bridge equipment checks.
• Inspect and maintain lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
• Support deck operations and LNG bunkering activities as directed.
• Maintain navigation, safety and operational records.
• Participate in onboard drills and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Malaysian nationality – mandatory.
• Previous experience onboard LNG vessels – mandatory.
• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency and endorsements appropriate to the rank.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable medical fitness certification.
• Valid passport and seaman’s book.
• Relevant experience as a 3rd Officer.
• Familiarity with LNG bunkering operations is an advantage.
• Good command of English.
• Availability to join in December 2026.
