3rd Officer for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Aaugustea is recruiting 2 Third Officers for a Chemical Tanker. The Third Officer will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, deck operations, and onboard safety activities.

Candidates should have experience on tanker vessels, with FRAMO pumps background considered an important requirement for the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Keeping navigational watches and assisting with safe navigation.
• Maintaining charts, publications, and navigational records.
• Supporting cargo, ballast, and deck operations.
• Participating in safety inspections, drills, and emergency preparedness.
• Assisting with routine deck maintenance and equipment checks.

Requirements

• Valid OOW / Third Officer CoC.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
• FRAMO pumps background.
• Valid Seafarer's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
