3rd Officer for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

A crewing company is hiring an experienced Third Officer (3/O) for Chemical / Product MR Tankers, with deployment scheduled for September / October 2026.

The Third Officer will support the deck department with navigational watchkeeping, safety equipment, maintenance, and routine deck operations in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
• Assist with vessel safety and emergency equipment maintenance.
• Support deck operations, inspections, and maintenance.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related operations.
• Maintain required records and comply with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Third Officer Certificate of Competency
• Relevant tanker experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant tanker certification as applicable
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
