Job Description
MAR AQUALINK MARITIME, INC. is recruiting five Third Officers for bulk carrier vessels operating worldwide. Applicants must have at least 12 months of experience in their current rank and hold valid seafarer documents.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties.
- Assist with passage planning and the maintenance of navigational charts.
- Inspect and maintain assigned safety equipment.
- Participate in onboard drills and emergency-response activities.
- Maintain bridge documentation and follow maritime safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Third Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
- At least 12 months of experience in the present rank.
- Valid and available seafarer documents.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Willingness to join as soon as possible.
- Experience with a mixed Chinese crew may be relevant to the assignment.
