Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is inviting applications from qualified Third Officers to join a bulk carrier. The successful candidate will support navigational watchkeeping, safety equipment maintenance, and routine deck operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties.
• Inspect and maintain lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
• Assist with bridge records and passage planning.
• Support deck operations and routine safety inspections.
• Participate in emergency drills and maintain compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant Third Officer Certificate of Competency.
• Previous experience on bulk carriers preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
