Job Description:
The 3rd Engineer will operate and maintain the ship’s machinery, ensuring smooth and safe vessel operations on oil and chemical tankers. This role requires technical expertise and adherence to HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain engine room equipment
• Monitor machinery performance and report issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Assist senior engineering officers in daily operations
• Maintain accurate records of machinery and maintenance
Requirements:
• Advanced Oil & Chemical Tanker Certificates
• Relevant endorsements for the 3rd Engineer position
• Prior experience on similar vessels
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
