Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting a qualified 3rd Engineer to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The position involves supporting the engine department with machinery operation, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting. Candidates with previous oil tanker experience are preferred, while a valid UAE Visa on Arrival is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor assigned engine-room machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and planned maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain machinery, tools, and engine-room work areas.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid 3rd Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant marine engineering experience
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
