3rd Engineer for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is recruiting a Third Engineer to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will assist the engineering team in operating and maintaining the vessel's main and auxiliary machinery, ensuring safe and efficient engine-room operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain engine-room machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting and machinery repairs.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects.
• Follow engine-room safety and environmental protection procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience as a Third Engineer on Oil/Chemical Tankers is preferred.
• Valid tanker training certificates as applicable.
