Job Description

MAR AQUALINK MARITIME, INC. is seeking five Third Engineers for bulk carrier vessels. Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience in their current rank and be prepared for worldwide deployment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform assigned engine-room watchkeeping duties.
  • Inspect and maintain main and auxiliary machinery.
  • Assist with planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Follow engine-room safety and pollution-prevention procedures.
  • Maintain maintenance records and report machinery defects.

Requirements

  • Valid Third Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • At least 12 months of experience in the present rank.
  • Valid and available seafarer documents.
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Willingness to join as soon as possible.
  • Experience with a mixed Chinese crew may be relevant to the assignment.
