Job Description:
Unitra Maritime Manila Inc. is recruiting a 3rd Assistant Engineer (3/AE / 4E) for a Bulk Vessel. The successful candidate will support the engine department with the safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the vessel's main and auxiliary machinery, working under the supervision of senior engineering officers.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Conduct routine inspections and monitor machinery performance.
Carry out planned maintenance and assist with repairs.
Maintain engine room equipment and working areas.
Follow onboard safety, environmental, and engineering procedures.
Requirements:
Valid 3rd Assistant Engineer / 4th Engineer Certificate of Competency
Previous experience in the same rank preferred
Bulk Vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents and relevant certificates
