Job Description:
Foscon Shipmanagement Inc. is urgently hiring a qualified Third Assistant Engineer to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. The Third Assistant Engineer will assist with engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with machinery repairs and overhauls.
- Monitor equipment performance and report defects.
- Follow engine-room safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid engineering Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Relevant experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers.
- Valid seafarer's documents required for the position.
