Job Description:

An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for a qualified Second Officer to join an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The successful candidate will assist with navigational duties, passage planning, and safety equipment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining navigational watches and ensuring safe navigation.
• Preparing passage plans and maintaining navigation charts.
• Monitoring navigational equipment and bridge systems.
• Maintaining safety and lifesaving equipment records.
• Assisting the Master and Chief Officer with daily operations.

Requirements:

• Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
