Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting Second Officers to join a Car Carrier Vessel. The Second Officer will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and general deck operations onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain navigational watches and assist with safe vessel navigation.
Prepare and maintain passage plans and navigational documentation.
Monitor navigational equipment and bridge systems.
Assist with safety, emergency, and deck operations.
Maintain accurate bridge records in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Certificate of Competency as Second Officer, as applicable
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant experience in rank
Previous Car Carrier / Ro-Ro vessel experience preferred
