2nd Officer Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Foscon Shipmanagement Inc. is urgently hiring a qualified Second Officer to join an Asphalt/Bitumen Tanker trading worldwide. The Second Officer will be responsible for navigational watchkeeping, passage planning, maintenance of navigational equipment, and supporting the safe operation of the vessel in accordance with company and international maritime requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Conduct navigational watchkeeping duties. 
•  Assist with voyage and passage planning. 
•  Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment. 
•  Support safe deck and cargo operations. 
•  Ensure compliance with onboard safety and navigation procedures. 

Requirements:

•  Valid STCW certificates. 
•  Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate for the position. 
•  Valid medical fitness certificate. 
•  Proficiency in English communication. 
•  Relevant experience as a Second Officer on merchant vessels. 
•  Tanker experience is preferred. 
•  Valid seafarer's documents required for the position.
