Job Description: Jasindo Duta Segara is recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer for a VLGC Vessel. The successful candidate will join a merchant vessel operating in foreign trading areas. The position requires strong navigation skills, tanker operation experience, and compliance with international maritime safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Maintain charts, publications, and bridge equipment
Assist with cargo operations and safety procedures
Conduct safety drills and inspections
Maintain required vessel documentation
Requirements: Valid STCW 2010 certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good English communication skills
Minimum 2 years experience in the same rank
Previous experience on VLGC / gas tanker vessel
Experience in foreign trading area
Experience working with mixed-nationality crew
