Job Description:
The 2nd Officer is responsible for navigation watch, safety equipment maintenance, and assisting the Chief Officer in daily deck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stand navigation watch and maintain the ship’s log.
• Inspect and maintain safety and lifesaving equipment.
• Assist in cargo handling operations.
• Report navigational and operational matters to Chief Officer.
• Conduct routine training and drills with crew.
Requirements:
• Valid CoC for 2nd Officer.
• Previous experience on LPG Tankers preferred.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
