2nd Officer for LNG / LPG Tanker Vessels

Job Description:

PT. Kuantum Marina Global is urgently recruiting an experienced Second Officer to join a dual-fuel takeover vessel. The successful candidate will assist the Master and Chief Officer with navigation, passage planning, and safe vessel operations. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in the same rank and on the same vessel type.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain navigational watches and assist with passage planning.
• Update nautical charts, publications, and bridge records.
• Monitor navigational equipment and support safe vessel operations.
• Assist with deck operations and onboard safety management.
• Participate in emergency drills and comply with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Indonesian nationality required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Second Officer on the same vessel type.
• All required documents valid for at least 12 months.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate, Seaman’s Book, and Passport.
• Fluent in English.
