Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting a qualified Second Officer to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The position involves bridge watchkeeping, navigation duties, passage planning, and supporting safe vessel and cargo operations. Candidates with relevant oil tanker experience and a valid VOA for the UAE are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Conduct navigational watches and assist with safe vessel navigation.
• Prepare and maintain passage plans and navigational records.
• Assist with deck and cargo operations as required.
• Maintain navigational equipment and documentation.
• Support onboard safety and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency
• Relevant oil tanker experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• UAE VOA preferred
