Job Description

Elburg Shipmanagement is urgently recruiting three Second Officers for oil tanker vessel. The role involves navigational watchkeeping, passage planning, and assisting with safe vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a safe navigational watch.
  • Prepare and update passage plans, charts, and navigational publications.
  • Assist with vessel navigation and bridge operations.
  • Inspect and maintain assigned safety equipment.
  • Maintain accurate bridge records and comply with maritime regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid Second Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • Relevant seagoing experience; tanker experience as required by the employer.
  • Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
