2nd Officer for Gas Tanker / VLGC Vessels

Job Description

Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel (Philippines) Inc. is recruiting qualified Second Officers for Fully Refrigerated Gas Tanker / VLGC vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties and assist with safe vessel navigation.
• Maintain charts, publications, and bridge records.
• Assist with passage planning and navigational equipment checks.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
• Support deck operations and comply with the Master’s instructions.

Requirements

• Valid Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency (CoC), as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in the same rank and on the required vessel type.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable gas tanker qualifications.
• Proficiency in English communication.
