Job Description:
The 2nd Officer is responsible for navigation watch, maintaining safety equipment, and assisting the Chief Officer with daily deck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stand navigation watch and maintain vessel logs.
• Inspect and maintain lifesaving and safety equipment.
• Assist in cargo operations and deck maintenance.
• Report operational matters to the Chief Officer.
• Conduct drills and crew training.
Requirements:
• Valid Gas Course and DC certification.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi.
• Prior experience on gas tankers preferred.
