2nd Officer for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Capital Ship Manning Phils. Inc. is recruiting 2 qualified Second Officers for Container Carrier Vessel operations, with deployment planned for October–December 2026. Candidates must have international sea service and substantial experience in the applied position.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain navigational watches and assist with passage planning.
• Update nautical charts, publications, and bridge records.
• Support safe cargo operations and deck activities.
• Inspect navigational and safety equipment.
• Assist the Master and Chief Officer with assigned duties.

Requirements:

• At least 18 months of experience as a Second Officer.
• International sea service experience.
• Last sign-off within the past 9 months.
• Valid maritime documents must be available.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid U.S. or Schengen visa preferred.
