Job Description
Jebsen PTC is recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Container Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational watchkeeping, voyage planning, safety equipment, and supporting the Master and Chief Officer in safe vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties.
- Assist with passage planning and navigation.
- Maintain navigational equipment and records.
- Support safety and emergency preparedness onboard.
- Assist with deck operations and cargo activities as required.
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Officer CoC and STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant experience as 2nd Officer on Container Vessels.
- Valid seafarer documents.
- Good English communication skills.
