2nd Officer for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently hiring a qualified Second Officer to join its Container Carrier Vessel fleet during the takeover of 10 vessels.

The Second Officer will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and other deck department operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Conduct navigational watchkeeping duties.
• Assist with passage planning and preparation of navigational equipment.
• Maintain charts, publications, and navigation records.
• Support cargo and deck operations as required.
• Follow vessel safety, security, and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Second Officer CoC
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Container Carrier Vessel experience
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
