Job Description:
Vessel Type: Chemical Oil Tanker (Oil/Chem)
Grace Marine and Shipping Corporation is seeking an experienced Second Officer to join a Chemical Oil Tanker operating on Far-East trading routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting safe navigation, cargo operations, and compliance with international maritime regulations. Tentative joining is scheduled for 20 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Master in navigation planning and bridge watchkeeping.
Supervise cargo operations and ensure safe handling of chemical cargoes.
Maintain navigational charts, publications, and bridge equipment.
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company procedures.
Coordinate safety drills and support onboard safety management.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Only Filipino Nationals
Minimum 2 years of experience as Second Officer
Previous experience on Chemical Oil Tankers
Valid Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: As per company policy
Joining Date: Tentatively 20 September 2026
Salary: USD 4,200/month
