Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Second Officer (2O) for a Cement Carrier vessel. The vessel operates in [insert region or area], transporting cement cargo. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in navigation and voyage planning to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
• Conducting regular watchkeeping duties and ensuring the safe operation of the vessel during the watch.
• Monitoring navigational equipment, radar, and communication systems, and assisting with the safe passage of the vessel.
• Maintaining and updating the vessel’s logbook, recording operational activities and incidents.
• Ensuring that safety drills and inspections are conducted in compliance with company and maritime regulations.

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Second Officer on similar vessel types (Cement Carrier preferred)
• Solid knowledge of navigation and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
