Job Description
Status Maritime Corp. is seeking a qualified Second Mate for an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The officer will support navigation, bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and onboard safety operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain navigational watches and assist with passage planning.
- Monitor navigational equipment and bridge systems.
- Assist with cargo operations and tanker safety procedures.
- Conduct safety equipment inspections and drills.
- Maintain accurate navigational records and documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers.
- Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
- Good English communication skills.
