2nd Engineer for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

A Second Engineer is required for a Bulk Carrier to support the Chief Engineer in the safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of vessel machinery and engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising engine-room operations and watchkeeping.
• Monitoring main and auxiliary machinery.
• Supporting planned maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshooting engineering equipment.
• Maintaining safe and efficient engine-room operations.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer CoC and STCW certificates.
• Previous Second Engineer experience.
• Bulk Carrier experience preferred.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
