2nd Engineer for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting a Second Engineer for tanker vessels. The Second Engineer will support the Chief Engineer in managing engine-room operations, maintenance, repairs, and the safe operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily engine-room operations and watchkeeping.
• Assisting with planned maintenance and repairs.
• Monitoring main engine, generators, pumps, and auxiliary machinery.
• Supervising engine-room personnel and assigned maintenance work.
• Maintaining accurate engineering logs and records.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer CoC.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant tanker vessel experience.
• VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English communication.
