Job Description
Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Second Engineer for VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax tanker vessels for October–November deployment.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Chief Engineer with engine-room operations and maintenance.
- Supervise engineering crew during maintenance activities.
- Monitor machinery condition and performance.
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure safe working practices within the engine department.
Requirements
- Valid Second Engineer CoC and STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant Second Engineer experience on tanker vessels.
- VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax experience is an advantage.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid seafarer documents.
