Job Description
KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting a qualified Second Engineer for a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier, with an expected departure window of November–December 2026.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in supervising engine-room operations.
- Monitor and maintain propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate machinery repairs.
- Supervise engine-room personnel and enforce safe working practices.
- Maintain machinery records and report technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
Requirements
- Valid Second Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant bulk carrier experience.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid seafarer’s documents.
Employment Details
- Salary: USD 7,100 per month, negotiable
- Bonuses: Rejoining Bonus, Seniority Bonus, and Higher Lie Bonus (as stated in the source advertisement)
