2nd Engineer for Oil Chemical / Oil Product Tanker Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is hiring a qualified Second Engineer for an Oil/Chemical or Oil Product Tanker ahead of a new vessel takeover in December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine-room operations.
• Monitor and maintain propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate machinery repairs.
• Supervise engine-room personnel and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate machinery records and report technical issues.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant tanker experience.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 9,900 per month
• Bonus: Rejoining Bonus
• Joining: December 2026
