Job Description:
FOSCON is urgently hiring 1 Second Assistant Engineer (2AE) to join an LNG Vessel. The successful candidate will support the engineering department in the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel's propulsion, auxiliary, and other engine-room systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out inspections, planned maintenance, and troubleshooting of engine-room equipment.
Monitor machinery performance and report defects or abnormalities.
Assist with repairs and maintenance in accordance with the vessel's planned maintenance system.
Follow all onboard safety, environmental, and LNG vessel operational procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a 2nd Assistant Engineer (2AE)
LNG Vessel experience preferred/required
Valid Engineer CoC and relevant certificates
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
Availability for urgent deployment
