Job Description

Prime Ocean Group is seeking an experienced Toolpusher to join a client’s drillship operating offshore Angola on 5 November 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising rig-floor operations, coordinating drilling personnel, and ensuring that drilling activities are conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising daily drilling operations and coordinating rig-floor activities.
• Managing and supporting drilling crews to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Monitoring drilling progress and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
• Coordinating with the Driller, rig management, and other departments.
• Enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Reporting operational issues and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Toolpusher on a drillship or comparable offshore drilling rig.
• Appropriate drilling-related qualifications and certificates.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification as required.
• Valid passport and relevant employment documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding offshore drilling environment.
• Availability to join on 5 November 2026.
