Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Tour Pusher to join a modern offshore drilling unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive drilling operations while maintaining strong client relationships and full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Tour Pusher provides operational leadership onboard, supervises drilling personnel, and supports the successful execution of the customer's drilling program while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the rig.


Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising and coordinating daily drilling operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Leading offshore personnel and ensuring compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
  • Monitoring drilling performance and supporting the achievement of customer drilling objectives.
  • Managing drilling equipment, maintenance activities, and operational readiness of rig systems.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, rig management, and offshore crews to ensure smooth operations.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid STCW certificates (where applicable).
  • Medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • USCG MODU OIM License, Unrestricted, Surface Units Underway or Surface Units on Location; candidates working toward an Unrestricted License may also be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling operations and associated support equipment.
  • Experience in offshore drilling operations, marine operations, and industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of marine environmental regulations and hazardous material handling procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, and personnel management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company-specific operational software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure tasks are completed effectively.
  • Completion of all training requirements for Assistant Rig Manager.
