Job Description:
The company is currently seeking experienced Day Pushers to join its offshore drilling fleet. Reporting directly to the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), the Day Pusher is responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive management of daytime drilling operations.
The successful candidate will supervise drilling activities, lead the drilling crew, oversee equipment maintenance, ensure compliance with company HSE and operational procedures, and coordinate daily operations in accordance with the approved drilling program. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate all daytime drilling operations in accordance with the drilling program.
Lead and manage the drilling crew, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive performance.
Monitor drilling equipment, maintenance activities, and operational readiness.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, well control procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with the Offshore Installation Manager and other departments to support safe and efficient drilling operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Minimum 10 years of offshore drilling experience, including at least 2 years as a Day Pusher.
Strong knowledge of drilling operations, drilling equipment, and wellbore mechanics.
Proven leadership and crew management experience.
Experience implementing and enforcing offshore HSE procedures.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
High School Diploma (minimum requirement).
Technical Degree in Drilling Technology is preferred.
Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control Certificate – Supervisor Level.
