Wood - Offshore Instrument Maintenance Technician - Wind Upskilling Programme** Wood is currently looking to invest in Offshore Maintenance Technicians (Instrument) from Oil and Gas in an upskilling programme giving opportunity to diversify into the world of Wind energy With fully paid, ECITB approved cross-skilling training and a guaranteed salary package on offer this pilot scheme could be the ideal opportunity for the right candidate to take their career in a new and exciting direction The ECITB Pilot Programme lasts for 6 weeks and they will be allocated to either Grangemouth on 12th May or Aberdeen on 19th May. Candidates MUST be available on these date The plan is for mobilisation to Dogger Bank OSP campaign immediately after the ECITB Pilot Programme. This work isn’t specific to wind turbines – it is maintenance on the offshore convertor stations, but gives early exposure to windfarm operations. Candidates must be available for mobilisation on 1st July.
