Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Technician to join our onshore maintenance team. You will be responsible for executing planned mechanical maintenance on a variety of equipment at our processing facilities. The role requires a structured, hands-on professional who works effectively both independently and in close collaboration with operations teams and external contractors to ensure plant integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Execute planned mechanical maintenance, inspections, and modifications on equipment such as gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and valves according to schedule and procedures.
· Ensure a safe, high-quality, and reliable installation by adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards.
· Coordinate activities with operators and other maintenance teams, and guide external contractors.
· Identify, report, and document malfunctions, deviations, and potential improvements.
· Accurately register all work performed, findings, and reports in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS - Maximo).

Job Requirements:
· Education & Certification:
· MTS Level 4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
· Valid safety certifications relevant to the onshore petrochemical industry (e.g., VCA-VOL).
· Experience:
· 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
· Proven experience with rotating equipment (gas turbines, compressors, pumps).
· Technical Skills & Knowledge:
· Proficiency in using a CMMS, preferably IBM Maximo.
· Familiarity with ATEX directives (mechanical aspects) and lifting operations.
· Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
· Personal & Professional Competencies:
· Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
· Strong focus on quality, safety, cleanliness, and order at the workplace.
· Excellent communication skills and a proven team player.
· Structured, proactive, and capable of working independently.
