Location: North Sea (UK Sector)
Drillmar Resources is recruiting a Hydraulic Technician for a Jack-Up rig in the North Sea (UK Sector). The assignment is set to begin on 21st January 2026 for a duration of 3 weeks. Candidates must have previous operational experience as a Hydraulic Technician onboard drilling installations and hold all essential certification.
This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic systems, ensuring smooth operations during drilling activities, and adhering to all safety procedures on the rig.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems onboard the jack-up rig
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hydraulic pumps, valves, and actuators
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of hydraulic equipment
• Support the drilling operations by ensuring continuous operation of hydraulic machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, participate in safety drills, and perform regular equipment checks
• Record and report maintenance activities, repairs, and faults in the rig’s systems
• Work closely with the rig crew and engineers to ensure smooth operation of the rig’s machinery
• Previous experience as a Hydraulic Technician on drilling installations
• OPITO Survival (BOSIET / FOET) & CA-EBS Training (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with CA-EBS)
• OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
• OGUK Medical Certificate & Bideltoid Measurements
• Lifeboat Coxswain – Twin & Single Fall certification
• Legionella Awareness training
