Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join an industrial maintenance team in Alkmaar. The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation installations in a production environment. The technician will work in compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and company procedures, while coordinating activities with operators, contractors, and other technical disciplines. The position includes both hands-on technical work and administrative responsibilities related to maintenance documentation, reporting, and work order management.

The working environment requires high safety awareness, accuracy, and the ability to operate independently as well as within a team.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing maintenance and repair work on electrical and instrumentation installations.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults in systems and equipment.
• Coordinating maintenance activities with operators, contractors, and other departments.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and NEN electrical standards.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, reports, and work orders.

Requirements

• Completed technical education at MBO Level 4 in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Good command of both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Residence within a maximum distance of 45 km from Alkmaar.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and electrical standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
