Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Rig Superintendent for a short-term offshore assignment on a client's offshore platform in the North Sea. This is a one-week cover position requiring an experienced professional capable of supporting drilling and offshore operations while ensuring safe and efficient execution of daily activities.
The successful candidate will assist the Rig Superintendent in coordinating platform operations, supervising personnel, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and offshore safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Rig Superintendent in supervising daily drilling and platform operations.
Coordinate operational activities between offshore departments and contractors.
Monitor compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and industry regulations.
Support planning, reporting, and operational documentation.
Promote safe working practices and assist with incident prevention and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (where applicable).
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Previous experience working onboard offshore platforms.
Previous experience in the same or a similar supervisory role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Good understanding of offshore drilling operations and HSE requirements.
