Roustabout for Offshore Drilling Rig (UK / North Sea)

Job Description

An experienced Roustabout is required to join an Offshore Drilling Rig in the UK North Sea. The position is for an 18-day assignment starting on 2 October 2026.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working on offshore drilling Rig and be able to perform general deck, cargo-handling, lifting support, maintenance, and housekeeping duties in an offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with general deck and offshore drilling installation operations.
• Support Banksman/Slinger activities and cargo-handling operations.
• Assist with lifting, loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materials.
• Carry out general maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, and deck duties.
• Follow all offshore HSE procedures and instructions from supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience on offshore drilling installations – mandatory.
• Valid Banksman/Slinger Stage 3 certification.
• All mandatory offshore certifications required for the project.
• Valid offshore medical and relevant safety certificates.
• Valid passport and seafarer/offshore documentation as applicable.
• Must be based in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the full assignment.
