Job Description:
Granite Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Roustabout for an offshore assignment in the UK sector.
The successful candidate will support general deck and offshore operations, including cargo handling, equipment handling and other routine duties as required onboard the installation.
The assignment is scheduled from Monday, 3 August 2026 until Tuesday, 18 August 2026. Due to the short mobilisation notice, candidates must be available to join on the specified date.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with general deck and offshore operations.
Supporting lifting, cargo handling and material movements.
Assisting with rigging and securing equipment and loads.
Maintaining work areas, equipment and deck areas in a safe and orderly condition.
Following all offshore safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Requirements:
Previous offshore experience as a Roustabout.
Valid mandatory offshore certifications.
Working at Heights – Unit 2 certification.
Banksman & Slinger Stage 3 certification preferred.
Banksman & Slinger Stage 1 may be considered for the right candidate due to the short-notice mobilisation.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Must be based in the UK.
Must have valid Right to Work in the UK.
Good English communication skills.
