Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced TRS Roughnecks for a series of upcoming offshore drilling assignments, with mobilisation from Aberdeen, United Kingdom. This is a PAYE-based opportunity for candidates with extensive experience operating Top Drive/Tube Running Systems (TRS) while also performing conventional Roughneck duties when required. Successful candidates will work as the sole TRS technician on shift, supporting safe and efficient drilling operations onboard offshore drilling rigs.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and maintain the Tube Running System (TRS) during drilling operations.
Perform Roughneck duties when TRS operations are not in progress.
Conduct equipment inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and offshore drilling regulations.
Support the drilling crew to ensure safe and efficient rig operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (where applicable).
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Right to work in the United Kingdom is mandatory.
Valid Offshore Survival certificate.
Valid MIST certificate.
Valid CA-EBS certificate.
Strong experience operating Tube Running Systems (TRS).
Ability to work independently as the sole TRS technician on shift.
Willingness to perform standard Roughneck duties when required.
Valid offshore certifications and availability for the advertised mobilisation dates.
