We are currently recruiting an Assistant Derrickhand / Lead Roughneck to join our client’s 6th generation drillship. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for experienced drilling personnel ready to mobilise immediately.

Contract Type

• Temp-to-Permanent
• Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
• Start: Immediate mobilisation required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Derrickhand and Drilling Crew during drilling operations
• Supervise and coordinate roughneck activities on the drill floor
• Ensure safe handling and operation of drilling equipment
• Monitor drilling operations and maintain high safety standards
• Work extensively with NOV drilling equipment
• Participate in safety meetings, drills, and toolbox talks
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and offshore regulations

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years operational experience as Assistant Derrickhand / Lead Roughneck
• Experience must be within the last 5 years onboard a MODU
• Residence in South-East Asia (e.g. India, Malaysia, Indonesia)
• Filipino nationals cannot be considered due to work permit restrictions
• In-depth knowledge of NOV drilling equipment (mandatory)
• Valid OPITO BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS
• Valid Medical Certificate (OGUK or STCW)
• Ability to mobilise immediately
