Job Description:
A leading offshore employer is seeking an experienced Offshore Scaffolder for a 3-week offshore assignment mobilising from Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support offshore maintenance and construction activities while maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
This is a temporary offshore contract offered on PAYE terms with ESA rates. Candidates holding additional emergency response certifications will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with offshore safety standards.
Ensure scaffolding is safe and fit for use before handover.
Assist with lifting operations and material handling when required.
Work closely with construction and maintenance teams to support offshore operations.
Comply with company HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and offshore regulations.
Requirements:
Valid offshore scaffolding qualification
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Banksman Slinger certification
Rigger certification
HERTM or OERTM certification is beneficial but not essential
Previous offshore scaffolding experience in a similar role is preferred
